Housekeeper

About the Role

White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in beautiful La Jolla, CA, is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team. As the largest nonprofit owner/operator of senior living communities in California and one of the largest in the country, we are here to ensure that our residents are provided with every opportunity to become their best selves as they define it.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and courteous service to all residents, guests, vendors, and fellow team members
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in areas such as resident homes/apartments, common, dining, and other areas throughout the community
• Clean resident bathroom, kitchen, living, and bedroom areas
• Dust, clean, sweep, mop, vacuum, and wash areas as appropriate
• Empty trash and spot clean carpets
• Maintain an organized and stocked work cart
• Take note of safety concerns and needed repairs and report to supervisor
• Ensure that clinical areas are sanitized in accordance with established Infectious Disease Control policies & procedures

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written in English)
• Previous housekeeping experience strongly preferred

Pay

Pay Range: $19 - $20.50, depending on experience

Schedule

Full Time: Sunday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
