Housekeeper

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
• Cross train to back up Laundry Department when needed
• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
• Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manor
• Adhere to all current regulations governing nursing facilities
• Develop a friendly, helpful rapport with residents
• Maintain the confidentiality and rights of all residents

Qualifications

• Ability to perform day-to-day housekeeping functions
• Willingness to cross train to support the Laundry Department
• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Knowledge of and adherence to facility regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Confidentiality and respect for resident rights
