Housekeeper

Job Summary

Village Health Care in Gresham, Oregon is seeking a Housekeeper to perform light cleaning duties.

Essential Functions

• Follows and completes cleaning schedules
• Observes proper infection control standards
• Performs janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness
• Maintains equipment used in performing duties
• Observing precautions required to protect resident property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements or as required by State regulations
• Mets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to relate positively and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other employees
• Has compassion and special interest in working with the senior population
