Housekeeper

About the role

Clearwater at Rancharrah is a premier luxury senior living community in Reno seeking a Housekeeper to maintain the high standard of cleanliness and safety established for the community. This role emphasizes superior customer service, teamwork, and a commitment to Clearwater Living’s people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments, including furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, bathtubs, toilets, showers, sinks, windows, mirrors, blinds, and shutters.
• Perform sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, disinfecting, washing, wiping, spot cleaning, and discarding waste/trash; replace trash receptacle liners.
• Report health, safety, and sanitation concerns, as well as apartment repairs or conditions needing attention, to the supervisor.
• Follow work/cleaning schedules as closely as practical.
• Monitor and remove trash and waste from inside community areas to designated trash cans/areas throughout the shift.
• Keep work areas attractive and free of hazardous objects; store equipment immediately after use.
• Follow procedures for mixing, storing, and using chemicals, disinfectants, and cleaning solutions; ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Lock and control housekeeping supplies and carts; prevent unattended access to chemicals or hazardous materials by residents or visitors.
• Comply with Clearwater Living standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
• Assist in moving residents during emergency situations, if needed.
• Maintain a positive and professional image, including proper uniform, name tag, and grooming standards.
• Represent Clearwater Living’s principles and core values daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
