Housekeeper
About the role
The Housekeeper at Chicago Behavioral Hospital is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, offices, and public areas. Duties include cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, taking out the trash, refilling supplies, and keeping supply closets clean and organized.
Responsibilities
- Completes daily housekeeping routines
- Vacuum, dust, mope, sweep, and take out the trash
- Ensures adequate linens are kept in the facility
- Cleans areas with disinfectants
- Refills supplies (paper products, soap, etc.)
- Affirms that supply closets are kept clean and orderly
- Keeps cleaning supplies and equipment safely stored when not in use and away from patient access when in use
Requirements
- Preferably one (1) year experience in housekeeping field
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- May be required to work overtime and flexible hours

Pay
This is a full-time role with an expected compensation range of $17.00 - $20.00 per hour.
Schedule
The schedule is 6a - 2:30p, including every other weekend.
