Housekeeper

About the Role

Responsible for cleaning areas within both hospital and non-hospital departments at Baptist Health, the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama. Completes all assigned tasks efficiently, effectively, and on a daily basis. Additional duties may be assigned as needed within the scope of the role.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, or Alabama Essentials Pathway diploma
• Minimum 1 year work experience preferred

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Sitting for 1% of the workday; mobility required 99% of the workday
• Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
• Frequent reaching, use of hands, and repetitive actions
• Frequent lifting of 10-50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs
• Ability to read and write
• Visual acuity at close and distant ranges
• Manual dexterity for performance of duties
• Ability to interact with all levels of peers, customers, and management
• Ability to work safely around chemicals and dust
• Flexibility with shift start and end times
