Spring Gardens Assisted Living in Peoria, AZ is seeking compassionate and thoughtful Housekeepers who share our passion for exceptional service in senior living. Housekeepers ensure all community areas are kept clean, sanitary, safe, and orderly in accordance with established procedures to maintain the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in residents’ rooms and the community’s living/recreational areas.
• Cleans, washes, sanitizes, and/or polishes bathroom fixtures, removing all water marks.
• Cleans floors, including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting, while ensuring CAUTION/SAFETY signs are properly set up prior to performing duties.
• Cleans carpets, including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Cleans walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing.
• Removes dirt, dust, grease, and film from surfaces using proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions.
• Cleans hallways as necessary or instructed.
• Disposes of waste/trash into proper containers and re-lines trash receptacles with plastic liners.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Experience in customer service is highly desired.
• Upbeat and positive team player attitude.
• Strong judgment and solutions-oriented mindset.
