Housekeeper

About the role

Americancare Senior Living is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, team members, and visitors. This role plays a vital part in resident satisfaction, safety, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and follow assigned cleaning schedules
• Perform cleaning assignments in resident rooms and common areas
• Ensure compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control standards
• Prepare resident rooms for new move-ins following discharge
• Report maintenance and repair needs to the supervisor
• Maintain work carts and equipment in a clean and safe condition
• Attend required in-service training and staff meetings
• Collaborate with other departments to support smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Grade school education required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, resident-centered environment

$15.00 hourly

Schedule

1st shift (9am-5pm, and rotating every other weekend)
