Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests.
• Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas.
• Acknowledge guests by name and handle all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies.
• Carefully clean up spills and notify managers of necessary maintenance requests.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces.
• Create genuine relationships with guests and cater to all housekeeping requests efficiently.
• Perform other functions as required, such as greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Pre-employment drug screening for marijuana and other controlled substances.
• Ability to work around 12 hours per day and frequently lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to stand for entire shift and frequently bend, squat, and reach.
• Ability to work on board a vessel for extended periods of time.
• Ability to use stairs frequently.
