Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests.
- Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas.
- Acknowledge guests by name and handle all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies.
- Carefully clean up spills and notify managers of necessary maintenance requests.
- Collect and dispose of trash.
- Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces.
- Create genuine relationships with guests and cater to all housekeeping requests efficiently.
- Perform other functions as required, such as greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age and an American citizen or Green Card holder.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Pre-employment drug screening for marijuana and other controlled substances.
- Ability to work around 12 hours per day and frequently lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to stand for entire shift and frequently bend, squat, and reach.
- Ability to work on board a vessel for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use stairs frequently.
