About the role
The Housekeeper role at Samaritan's Purse involves maintaining buildings and offices throughout the Boone campus. This position supports various ministries and shares the Gospel with the global community.
Responsibilities
- Maintain personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness to Him
- Clean buildings, offices, and restrooms by sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, and caring for floors
- Clean furniture, carpets, windows, blinds, doors, jambs, refrigerators, sinks, toilets, light fixtures, countertops, and windows
- Empty sanitary receptacles and remove trash from all buildings
- Report any maintenance or safety items encountered during scheduled work
- Work with other staff to coordinate special assignments, completing tasks and duties assigned by the Housekeeping Manager
- Clean offsite areas as directed
- Aid in annual spring cleaning of all buildings
- Restock supplies and refill soap and tissue dispensers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or GED and three (3) months related housekeeping experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- General knowledge of basic cleaning and ability to learn Samaritan's Purse cleaning standards
- General knowledge of cleaning chemicals
- General knowledge of housekeeping safety protocols

Schedule
This role is full-time, working from 9:00am to 5:30pm.
