House Supervisor RN - Part Time Night

This position is part-time, working 12-hour night shifts at Providence Petaluma Valley Hospital in Petaluma, CA.

About the role

Reports to the Director of Nursing and is responsible for the coordination of patient flow and supervisory activities of float staff during their assigned shift. Serves as a nursing resource and intervenes in difficult situations or medical crises. The House Supervisor advocates for the protection and rights of individuals, families, health care providers, nursing, and other professions, especially related to health and safety.

Ensures the continuing coordination of operations of all hospital departments consistent with the hospital's values, goals, and strategic plan. This position has the authority and responsibility to exercise "command decisions" in all emergency and safety-related situations. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patients' nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• California Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
• 1 year of charge nurse or leadership experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $82.99 - $131.03 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Part-time, 12-hour night shifts.
