About the Role
At St Joseph College Station Hospital, you will be a central orchestrator of care, empowering our frontline nursing teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences and drive operational excellence. Every day, you will actively engage with patient care needs, guide and support your nursing team's growth, and champion departmental objectives. You'll fiercely advocate for your fellow nurses, fostering an environment where every individual reaches their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Integrates nursing units into the organization's vision and mission.
- Provide leadership and direction during a given shift.
- Support the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Department(s) and assesses areas of personal and professional growth.
- Conducts all aspects of supervision in a firm, fair, and consistent manner.
- Makes frequent rounds to monitor and ensure delivery of safe and quality care in all nursing units.
- Demonstrates an ability to identify and resolve problems, uses initiative and good judgment to reach quality decisions.
Requirements
- Associate Of Nursing
- Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months
