House Supervisor (RN) 13 wk Assignment $65/hr - Nights | Denver LTACH

Internal 13-week assignment position at $65 per hour.

About the role

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. Responsibilities include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver and supervise patient care
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
• Conduct interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
• Access community resources for patient support
• Perform Charge Nurse duties if ACLS certified

Requirements

• Active RN License in the state of application
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification (preferred initially, required after 90 days of employment; required from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU)

Qualifications

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments (preferred)
• Comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, etc. (preferred)
• Two years of experience in direct patient care (preferred)

Pay

$65 per hour
