House Supervisor PRN
Job Summary
As a House Supervisor PRN, you will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating intradepartmental and interdepartmental functioning of the hospital. You will direct, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing performance and activities related to the care and treatment of patients within the hospital on a specific shift. You will also coordinate patient assignments to specific units, assign nursing staff to clinical areas, and act as the official representative of management and administrative staff in their absence. You will assess personnel needs based on census, acuity, and special unit needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice, with at least 3 years as a Charge Nurse or similar management role.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) or completion of or actively pursuing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Licenses and Certifications: Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License, and Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
