House Supervisor, 7p-7a

Responsibilities

• Has 24/7 accountability for a patient care area/department.
• Focuses on safe, effective patient and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
• Maintains a financially stable unit.
• Promotes self and staff development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education, supported by a Practice Governance framework.
• Ensures that the Swanson Theory of Caring and patient/family-centered care are the foundation for nursing practice.
• Ensures staff at all levels are involved in resource allocation, interdisciplinary activities, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• One year as a Registered Nurse.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (RN).
• Desired: Three years as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (RN).
• Master Degree in Nursing (RN).
