Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and evaluation of school policies and programs.
- Support the preparation, planning, and implementation of the master schedule.
- Collaborate with the principal on teacher in-service programs and faculty meetings.
- Contribute to the development, revision, and evaluation of the curriculum.
- Evaluate and rate teacher performance.
- Participate in the interview process for new personnel.
- Provide orientation to new employees.
- Maintain communication with parents regarding student conduct and academic performance.
- Instruct faculty on matters of student conduct.
- Oversee the grade-level Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process.
- Supervise emergency drills and coordinate Crisis Intervention Teams.
- Work closely with the Special Education Supervisor to monitor student supports.
- Serve as an LEA for Individualized Education Program (IEP), 504 Plan, and General Individualized Educational Program (GIEP) meetings.
- Manage building-level Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) program.
- Assist in addressing school bus discipline issues.
- Support the Principal in working with the Home & School Association.
- Review and uphold the Student Handbook.
- Supervise substitute teachers.
- Develop the duty schedule and maintain the daily coverage schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal and act as the Principal during their absence.
Requirements
Certification: Must have a valid and active PA Administrative Certificate: Principal PK-12. Prior administrative experience/strong background in elementary education preferred.

Pay
Spring-Ford Area School District offers a salary range of $132,000.00 - $148,567.16, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position is full-time, 12-month (260-262 days).
