House Manager - Tier III - Residential Habilitation Manager

About the role

The House Manager (Residential Habilitation Manager - RHM) - Tier III supports individuals with disabilities or special needs by assisting with daily maintenance and participating in community activities. They supervise staff who provide necessary supports and skill training as outlined in the individualized residential habilitation plan.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily maintenance tasks at their homes
• Supervise staff providing supports and skill training as per the individualized residential habilitation plan
• Participate in community activities other than primary day activities (e.g., day treatment and supported work)
• Overtime may be available

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience with the Intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or mental health population
• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity
• Previous manager experience and strong leadership skills are required
• Strong experience in supporting individuals with enhanced clinical needs

Qualifications

• A valid NYS driver's license is required

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of disability support systems and resources
