House Manager- (Belle Forte) and (Prince George) Sun-Th or Tues-Sat
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The position is responsible for the operation of a residential home. The House Manager works with staff to provide care to individuals served and ensures efficient and cost-effective services.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION(S)
- Supervises the day-to-day operation of the home in compliance with regulations and Agency standards.
- Provides supervision and training to individuals with intellectual disabilities to promote growth.
- Supervises Lead Staff and Direct Support Professionals and ensures accountability.
- Collaborates with the Division Manager for disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
- Maintains fiscal responsibility by supporting individuals with banking, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Ensures accuracy and timely submission of incident reports, activity calendars, weight charts, and other documents.
- Completes performance evaluations and participates in IP planning and leisure activities.
- Maintains the home and vehicle, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Communicates with families, external personnel, and delegating nurses to coordinate medical services.
- Manages household shopping, medication supplies, and emergency contact information.
- Reports vehicle problems, follows up on maintenance, and attends house meetings.
- Uses technology for job duties and attends required training and meetings.
- Works cooperatively with others and assumes other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Two years of experience working with individuals who have a developmental disability in a group residence and experience in a management or supervisory position.
- License: Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift 50 pounds.
COMPENSATION
$52,000 Annually
