House Attendant

Hotel Emblem San Francisco is seeking a House Attendant to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the property.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Pacifica’s Pure Stay guidelines to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of team members and guests.
• Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property-specific guidelines.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Clean guest rooms, hallways, and other assigned areas to Company standards.
• Remove trash and cigarette butts from the entire grounds.
• Run laundry and empty housekeepers’ trash.
• Clean lobby, exterior windows, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, pool furniture, ice machines, and vending machines.
• Maintain cleanliness of dumpster areas, sand urns, exterior light fixtures, public benches, and the exterior of guest room doors.
• Shampoo carpets as assigned.
• Turn mattresses as assigned.
• Clean guestroom sliding glass doors as assigned.
• Report any missing or found articles or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assist the maintenance department with basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry).
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to overall hotel performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

• Basic cleaning skills.
• Basic maintenance skills are helpful.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and make sound judgments.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, management, and team members.
• Dependable and reliable.

Pay

$30–$31.21/hour depending on experience.
