Nucar Toyota of North Kingstown is seeking Hourly Technicians to join our growing team. This position is ideal for those who prefer a stable hourly wage over flat-rate pay.
About the role
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of one year of automotive service experience, with a strong background in drivability and engine diagnostics. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, alignments, brake service, and related repairs, including major engine repairs. We seek technicians who take pride in delivering high-quality work the first time.
Our repair bays are equipped with the latest tools and technology to service today’s vehicles, and we maintain a large parts inventory to minimize wait times.
Responsibilities
- Perform drivability and engine diagnostics
- Conduct preventive maintenance services
- Handle alignments and brake service
- Execute related repairs, including major engine repairs
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of automotive service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with others
