Responsibilities
- Manage all employees’ behavior and involvement in Safety (incident reports, closure rates), Quality, Company Policies, Production, Operational Cost, Lean Manufacturing Procedures, and On-Time Performance.
- Manage employee performance using hourly annual performance review procedures and discipline problems per Department and Company policy.
- Report all issues of concern to upper-level management using company policy and ethics procedures.
- Develop and promote team members and prepare employees for advancement and growth within the company.
- Responsible for certification and re-certification of all employees for each skill in critical and non-critical operations.
- Plan and lay out work from schedules, instructions, and other data to ensure an orderly flow of material that meets customer requirements, including on-time delivery.
- Generate departmental cost-reduction savings in production, process procedures, or other areas.
- Maintain equipment, tools, parts, and work area by requesting repairs, ordering items through proper channels, and ensuring a neat, clean, and organized environment.
- Maintain integrity of information stored in the Macro Database and Tracking System.
- Gain and maintain qualifications in Macro Preparation and Macro Evaluation.
- Communicate with other ATI facilities and departments to optimize on-time performance, meet delivery dates, and maintain workflow.
- Maintain proper inventory of acids and other supplies used in Macro Evaluation and Macro Prep.
- Work overtime and hours outside normal shift hours as required by management.
- Perform other duties as required or directed by management.
Requirements
- General high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of ATI or manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Lead Position.
