Hourly Operations Technician

About the role

The Operations Technician position involves running mill production equipment, monitoring the process to produce a high quality product, following detailed written and verbal procedures, troubleshooting problems, and working in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for running mill production equipment
• Maintain a high quality product by monitoring the process
• Follow detailed written and verbal procedures
• Identify and resolve equipment issues
• Work collaboratively with team members

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to operate equipment in a heavy industrial environment
• Ability to work shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Comprehend and follow complex directions in various formats
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation
• Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces
• Pass drug screens and background checks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including email, word, and excel
• Previous successful work experience in a manufacturing and/or military environment
• Desire for career advancement

Pay

The starting pay rate is $24.88/hr. to $50.13/hr., with a $.47 to $2.01/hr. shift allowance based on individual experience, skills, and abilities.

Schedule

Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
