STCW Training Instructor FMTC Safety in Gray, LA seeks a seasoned, safety-focused professional to join their maritime training team. Based in Gray, the company supports mariners, offshore personnel, and emergency-response professionals across the Gulf Coast, offering internationally recognized training that prepares students for real-world conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courses including Personal Survival Techniques (PST), Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities (PSSR), Elementary First Aid (EFA), and Fire Prevention & Firefighting (FPFF).
• Guide trainees through both classroom instruction and hands-on practical evolutions using specialized facilities.
• Maintain training equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), and training areas to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Support audits, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Gray, LA training team to ensure smooth course delivery and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications
