Main Purpose
Aid mechanics in assembly/inspection/repair of equipment or components onshore and offshore.
Required Skills
- Experience working offshore
- Exposure to hydraulic and mechanical assembly
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
- Assist mechanics in testing and troubleshooting cranes as well as components of the cranes
- Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements
- Perform other duties as required by Supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
- Ensure company owned equipment is properly used
HSEQ Responsibilities
- Familiarize and follow the Company's Policy for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
- Report any accidents, incidents, near misses, actual or potential problems to the HSE(Q) Department Manager
- Follow Company policies, procedures, guidelines, control measures, signage, and permit conditions
- Know what to do in an emergency
- Responsible for the health and safety arrangements of subordinates (if any) and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises
