Hotel Storeroom Clerk - Part Time

About the Role
The Storeroom Clerk plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Notifying the person responsible for ordering merchandise when shipments arrive or fail to arrive.
- Signed, dated, and time-stamped all invoices on the respective receiving sheet, ensuring items are correctly identified.
- Aids in the daily operation of the food storeroom, properly storing and rotating stock to ensure freshness; assists with transportation of heavy goods.
- Fills requisitions to authorized outlets to ensure all stock is complete at each outlet and advises supervisors of low stock items.
- Conducts month-end inventories, monitors and documents cooler and freezer temperatures, checks each item on the invoice, tracks and reports food waste, and verifies accuracy of deliveries.
- Ensures smooth, efficient operations aligned with brand standards, identifies opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, and delivers consistent, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Delivers exceptional service rooted in passion for hospitality, anticipates needs, and responds with a solutions-first mindset, creating memorable, personalized experiences for every guest.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of appropriate stock levels for any given item kept in inventory and the amount of time the item will be fresh.
- Basic mathematical skills necessary to track and receive specific volumes of deliveries.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language sufficient to complete forms and inventories, read billings and invoices, and communicate with co-workers and purveyors.
- Ability to grasp, lift, and/or carry goods on a handcart/truck weighing a maximum of 300lbs. Goods must be moved one or more items at a time, depending on size and weight, at a continuous schedule.
- Ability to work well on a team.
- Able to lift 20-40 pounds regularly.
- Works quickly and completes tasks on time.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools.
