About the role

The Lot Attendant / Lot Auditor helps ensure a smooth, safe, and organized parking experience for guests. This role includes directing traffic, assisting customers, monitoring the lot, and keeping the area clean and secure. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Issue tickets, handle payments accurately, and track money and paperwork responsibly.
  • Complete shift logs, track tickets and revenue, and document parking activity.
  • Label keys, record vehicle details, and maintain organized records of parked cars.
  • Check the lot regularly, report unsafe or suspicious activity, and ensure vehicles are parked securely and according to policy.
  • Keep the parking area and booth clean and presentable; assist with light cleaning or janitorial tasks as needed.
  • Help guests with payments and parking questions while maintaining a friendly, helpful attitude.
  • Use radios appropriately, stay in contact with the team, and support a positive work environment.
  • Arrive on time, follow company policies, and consistently maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Take on other tasks as needed to support operations, including attending training sessions and adapting to scheduling needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Clean motor vehicle record (no more than three moving violations within the past three years).
  • Successful completion of a background check, maintained throughout employment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Clean, professional appearance and adherence to uniform and grooming standards.
  • Schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Use of a personal cell phone for work-related communications (reimbursement provided per company policy).

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation.
  • Courteous, professional demeanor with patience, empathy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred, but a positive, helpful attitude is essential.

Pay

Hourly base rate (rates vary by market). Overtime pay for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek at one and one-half times the regular hourly rate. Compensation meets or exceeds applicable minimum wage in your work location.

Schedule

Full-time or part-time. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Employment with PMC is at-will, meaning either the employee or employer may terminate the relationship at any time, for any reason, with or without cause or notice.
