Reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
About the Role
Responsible for providing clean and immaculate hotel guestrooms that meet guest expectations and the property’s established standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable Tribal, Federal, and other laws, gaming regulations, and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of guest service by listening and responding to guest and team member concerns.
- Ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Clean guestrooms in an average of 28 minutes or less per room.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors; vacuum carpeted areas.
- Empty guestroom wastebaskets and remove debris.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas, including windows, mirrors, door panels, light switches, remotes, and drawers.
- Clean and disinfect all bathroom areas using appropriate chemicals.
- Replenish guestroom amenities and supplies (e.g., tissue, soap, shampoo).
- Replace and refresh all linen in guest rooms.
- Maintain quality standards and service expectations according to property guidelines.
- Develop a critical eye for detail and perfection.
- Ensure the security of guestrooms and their contents.
- Report any lost or abandoned guest belongings.
- Assist in departmental training efforts.
- Support laundry, public areas, or houseperson tasks as needed.
- Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
- Maintain the security of confidential information.
- Attend and complete all required training.
- Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting, Title 31 requirements, IRS Currency Transaction Reports, and Anti-Money Laundering policies.
- Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR, and SAR records as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of sanitation requirements, controls, and chemical applications.
- Understanding of housekeeping standards, especially safety and security of guest and hotel property.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move continuously to clean rooms.
- Ability to push or lift up to 50 pounds; continuous transportation of laundry to and from guest rooms.
- Ability to push and/or pull wheeled racks and carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English; Spanish or other language skills a plus.
Qualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and Native American preference is observed.

Physical Demands
- Regularly stand, sit, walk, push, pull, and bend for extended periods.
- Reach with hands and arms; talk and listen regularly.

- Close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception vision requirements.
- Effective communication in person or via telecommunications equipment.
- Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate equipment (keyboard, touch-screen, telephone, calculator).
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment
- Normal office setting and casino floor.
- Frequent walking and standing in a smoke-filled environment with public contact.
- Temperature-controlled environment with varying noise levels; may be exposed to high noise.
- Extended hours and irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Work under pressure and long hours in stressful conditions.
- May be exposed to risks when resolving issues with difficult guests or irate staff.
- Exposure to various lighting (artificial, fluorescent, flashing, strobe, colored).
- Travel may be required to perform essential functions.
Conditions of Employment
- Must obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including a successful background check.
- Must keep all documents current and valid.
- Must provide authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
- Must comply with KLEC handbook, internal policies, and gaming regulations.
