Hotel Residential Housekeeper

EVS Technician I performs housekeeping and service duties necessary to maintain the Patient and Family Housing building and apartments in an orderly, safe, sanitary, and attractive condition. This role focuses on heavy housekeeping duties in both patient care and non-patient care areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, and polishing in assigned areas, including patient rooms, offices, public spaces, bathrooms, and water fountains.
• Conduct complete patient room discharge cleaning when vacated.
• Adhere to hospital Infection Prevention practices, including biohazard waste handling, handwashing techniques, and standard or isolated precautions.
• Exercise caution when using chemicals or hazardous materials, following MSDS guidelines.
• Empty and transport soiled linen and trash containers, ensuring receptacles remain odor-free.
• Respond to questions and requests from patients, staff, and visitors with excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness of carts, stations, closets, and equipment storage areas; keep utility carts stocked.
• Clean and return all equipment after use.
• Maintain positive rapport with associates, physicians, and staff.
• Handle unexpected changes in priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of housekeeping experience required; hospital or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong organization and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing workloads.
• Effective communication with diverse personnel.

Pay

$18.50—$26.64/hour

Schedule

Wednesday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM MST
