Hotel Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all hotel maintenance activities, ensuring the property remains in excellent condition and that all systems and equipment function properly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the maintenance team in performing repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance for all hotel systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and more.
• Cook up and schedule maintenance tasks to ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations.
• Train, guide, and evaluate the performance of maintenance staff, ensuring safety protocols and procedures are followed.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to resolve any maintenance-related concerns.
• Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and supplies to ensure cost-effective operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, with a proven track record of leadership in a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergency repairs and system failures.
• Able to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and delegate responsibilities to team members.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other departments.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
