Hotel Houseperson - Full & Part Time - Harrah's Gulf Coast

Responsibilities

• Ensure linen closets are stacked on each assigned floor and provide linen to guest room attendants as requested.
• Clean and maintain assigned guest hallways and stairwells.
• Provide assistance and support to assigned guest room attendants by stripping rooms, removing soiled linen, trash, and providing supplies.

Qualifications

• Able to push and pull 150lbs carts.
• Able to lift up to 75lbs.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch to clean low and high areas in the hotel.
• Able to walk up and down stairs.
• Able to work in areas containing second hand smoke.
• Able to operate equipment such as vacuums, floor machines, carpet extractors, mop, and a broom.
• Able to tolerate cleaning chemicals without developing an allergic reaction.
• Able to fold linen, bed sheets, blankets, bed spreads, and pillow cases.
