About the Role

Responsible for ensuring linen closets are stocked on each assigned floor and providing linen to guest room attendants as requested. Must clean and maintain assigned guest hallways and stairwells. Provides assistance and support to assigned guest room attendants by stripping rooms, removing soiled linen and trash, and supplying necessary items.

Responsibilities

• Stock linen closets on assigned floors.
• Provide linen to guest room attendants upon request.
• Clean and maintain guest hallways and stairwells.
• Assist guest room attendants by stripping rooms, removing soiled linen and trash, and providing supplies.
• Operate equipment such as vacuums, floor machines, carpet extractors, mops, and brooms.
• Fold linen, bed sheets, blankets, bedspreads, and pillowcases.

Requirements

• Must be able to push and pull 150lb carts.
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch to clean low and high areas in the hotel.
• Able to walk up and down stairs.
• Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke.
• Must be able to tolerate cleaning chemicals without developing an allergic reaction.
• Must be able to work any day of the week.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team.
