Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
• Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
• Set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested
• Retrieve items from shelves and storerooms, set up cleaning cart with supplies, and maintain carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion
• Clean and wipe windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in rooms, public areas, and hallways, often using ladders or stools to reach high areas
• Wash shower walls and tubs, clean toilets and stall walls, wipe exposed pipes, clean mirrors, sinks, and walls in guest and public restrooms
• Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash
• Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
• Replace towels, soaps, and all room amenities, and restock literature removed or soiled by previous guests
• Vacuum rooms, public areas, and hallways, including underneath furniture and hard-to-reach areas
• Inspect all room equipment (TV, lights/lamps, faucets, radios) to ensure proper working order and report deficiencies in writing
• Secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys, and supplies
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisor

Requirements

• Professional demeanor, clear communication skills, and ability to support multiple departments
• Support all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
• Continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Clean uniform and professional appearance
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds without assistance

Schedule

Flexible shifts available: morning, evening, night, weekends. Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.
