About the role
The Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all rooms are cleaned to a high standard, and managing staff effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee cleaning schedules and ensure all guest rooms are cleaned thoroughly and in accordance with hotel standards.
- Manage and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance and feedback to improve performance.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and maintained properly.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues related to housekeeping services.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in housekeeping or related field.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures and standards.
