About the role
The Sunray Companies are seeking a flexible, honest, friendly, high-energy, hard-working, guest-focused individual who excels at attention to detail. The Home 2 Suites Hammond team is looking to add a new member to their housekeeping department, offering flexibility including weekends and nights due to the hotel's 24/7 operation.
Responsibilities
- Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, and elevators
- Organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures
- Distribute linen, towels and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand
- Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies
- Replace dirty linens with clean items
- Inspect and turn mattresses regularly
- Store all dirty laundry in line with company policy
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
- Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
- Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend
- Able to lift, push and pull required loads (usually about 30 lbs)
