Responsibilities
- Supervise staff and manage daily operations of a designated shift.
- Support, administer, and manage operational goals.
- Maintain guest satisfaction through scheduling coordination.
- Assist in the budget process for the department.
- Support superior customer service standards.
- Maintain and prepare guest rooms for check-in.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and linen.
- Monitor and report maintenance issues.
- Oversee daily cleaning of occupied rooms.
- Handle special requests from the Front Desk.
- Inspect vacant rooms and ensure compliance with housekeeping specifications.
- Maintain designated par levels for linens and supplies.
- Perform housekeeping duties in the absence of the Shift Manager.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Well-organized and strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety and health standards set by OSHA and local Health Department.
- Ability to operate all Hotel Housekeeping equipment.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree (A.A.) in a related field; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
