Hotel Housekeepers

About the Role

As a Guest Room Attendant (Hotel Housekeeper), you will maintain clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel. You will service guest rooms daily according to hotel procedures, stock carts with room supplies, replace bed linens, and replenish guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures. This role may also involve deep-cleaning guest rooms and performing preventive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards as required by scheduling, which varies according to hotel needs.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag (per brand standards).
• Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to preparing the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
• Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, verbally or in writing.
• Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Ability to perform effectively even under workload pressure.

Schedule

• Variable days, with weekends required.
