Hotel Housekeeper

About the role

The brand new Springhill Suites Gilbert, located in the SanTan Village area, is seeking a dedicated Hotel Room Attendant / Housekeeper to join our hospitality team in Gilbert, AZ. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a passion for hospitality, and experience in cleaning and custodial services. Prior hotel or janitorial experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
• Perform floor care tasks such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain cleanliness and safety
• Ensure all public areas, hallways, and lobbies are tidy and well-maintained
• Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting replenishments as needed
• Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Skills in cleaning, floor care, industrial cleaning, or janitorial services are advantageous
• Experience with hospitality operations or housekeeping management is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage procedures is beneficial

Pay

$17.50 - $18.25 USD per hour
