Hotel Host (Guest Service/Driver Hybrid Position)

About the role

The Organization- Hyatt Place Orlando Airport Summary Hotel Hosts contribute to the hotel's commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork. This position is responsible for the complete guest experience including the Hotel Host Stand, the Placery Café, the Guest Kitchen, the e-room and the TV den, guest check-in and out, and the servicing of the meeting rooms.

Responsibilities

• Offering a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful, and exceptional service
• Maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment
• Handling guest check-in and check-out processes
• Servicing meeting rooms as needed
• Driving the airport shuttle with a DOT exam required (CDL not necessary)

Requirements

• Previous guest service experience, preferably in a hotel or related field
• Schedule flexibility for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Strong command of the English language (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment with guest interaction
• Multi-tasking ability
• Age 18 or older
• Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs)
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Pass a DOT exam certification
• Able to drive a full-size van (CDL not necessary)

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or related field
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs)
• Must possess basic computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
• Must be able to pass a DOT exam certification
• Must be able to drive a full-size van (CDL not necessary)
