Description Job Overview: 11pm-7:30am (Shift subject to change based on business needs) In addition to performing routine Front Desk tasks (check-in & checkout), hotel Night Auditors perform a vital role on 3rd shift in closing the business day in the property management system and rolling the date to keep the system current. Duties And Responsibilities Projects a positive imageGreets all guestsInitiates the Night Audit process of closing the financial day and rolling the date in the PMSGenerates reports for various team members as directedProcesses no-show reservations Performs hotel check-in and checkout transactionsEnrolls guests in player’s club, generate cards upon demandDisseminates information to guests regarding the property, hotel, promotions, etc.Performs miscellaneous tasks - cash handling, check authorizations, faxing , copyingMaintains cash drawer, drops cash as required, submits supporting documentation Answers telephones, routing calls as necessaryActively resolves guest issues and disputesReports guestroom issues to MaintenanceRe-stocks Front Desk suppliesKeeps work area clean and orderlyOther duties & responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying) Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or olderHigh School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employmentMust be able to type 20 words per minute (typing test will be administered) - requiredGood writing and verbal communication skills required (skills test will be administered)- requiredExperience in customer service- requiredMust be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.Must be willing and able to work 3rd shiftMust successfully pass job interview, including a guest service auditionMust be able to stand and walk for entire shiftMust be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environmentMust be able to operate standard office equipment - phones, computers, etc.Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidaysWilling to travel and participate in training as recommended or requiredMust have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this positionMust have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES Complaints about the recruitment or selection process for employment should be directed in writing to office of the President and CEO of Wind Creek Hospitality.
