- Answer phones and take guest reservations
- Perform check-ins and check-outs
- Answer questions about the hotel and area
- Handle and resolve guest complaints
- End of night closeout procedures
- Balance day's business activities
- Post charges
- Complete required spreadsheets, reports, and systems for the new day
