About the role
The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, managing check-in/check-out procedures, and ensuring the hotel’s operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and assisting with their reservations
- Processing payments and handling cash transactions
- Managing guest accounts and issuing invoices
- Handling guest requests and complaints
- Updating guest records and maintaining accurate information
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assisting with room service and housekeeping requests
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Knowledge of hotel operations and policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting preferred
- Customer service orientation
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
