About the role

The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, managing check-in/check-out procedures, and ensuring the hotel’s operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming guests and assisting with their reservations
  • Processing payments and handling cash transactions
  • Managing guest accounts and issuing invoices
  • Handling guest requests and complaints
  • Updating guest records and maintaining accurate information
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
  • Assisting with room service and housekeeping requests
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and policies

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospitality setting preferred
  • Customer service orientation
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
