About the role

The Cambria Hotel Austin Downtown is a distinguished property within the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, engaging with guests, and ensuring their memorable stay.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests with a positive and welcoming demeanor
• Register guests, check-in, and ensure proper credit is received
• Note and fulfill special requests for guests
• Establish and maintain accurate information for guests
• Resolve issues and “WOW” guests during unexpected situations
• Promote and sell special hotel programs
• Interact professionally with hotel/resort staff, providing necessary information
• Maintain knowledge of all emergency procedures and policies
• Communicate pertinent information to the manager on duty
• Follow set procedures for posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds
• Aid other departments as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• An outgoing and engaging personality
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
• Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
