Responsibilities
- Greet every guest warmly with a friendly, professional attitude upon arrival and departure.
- Open and close hotel entrance doors for guests.
- Welcome guests and provide directions to the front desk, restaurants, meeting rooms, and hotel amenities.
- Assist guests with luggage by coordinating with Bell Services when needed.
- Manage traffic flow at the front drive, ensuring vehicles move efficiently and safely.
- Cook up with valet attendants to expedite vehicle arrivals and departures.
- Assist guests entering and exiting vehicles, including those requiring additional assistance.
- Monitor the front entrance to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming appearance.
- Help organize taxi, rideshare, shuttle, and limousine pickups while minimizing congestion.
- Communicate effectively with the Front Desk, Bell Services, Security, and Valet teams regarding guest needs.
- Provide information about local attractions, transportation options, and hotel services.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve minor concerns or direct guests to the appropriate department.
- Observe and report suspicious activity or safety hazards to hotel management or Security.
- Ensure compliance with hotel service standards and safety procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the hotel's uniform and grooming standards.
- Assist during high-volume arrivals, departures, group check-ins, and special events.
- Help maintain ADA accessibility by assisting guests with disabilities as needed.
- Thank guests for choosing the hotel and invite them to return.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, valet, or bell services is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- A professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- The ability to greet and assist guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when assisting with luggage.
- The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- The ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A basic knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred if assisting with valet operations).
- To pass a background check and comply with company safety and service standards.
