KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up the breakfast area each morning and prepare breakfast items such as coffee, juice, pastries, cereals, fruit, and hot items
- Ensure food displays are attractive, fresh, and fully stocked during service hours
- Assist co-workers and collaborate with other hotel departments as needed
- Greeting guests warmly and assist with questions about breakfast offerings, hotel amenities and local attractions
- Respond professionally to guest requests or complaints
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the breakfast area, kitchen, and dining space
- Monitor food temperatures and follow health and safety guidelines
- Wash and replenish dishes and utensils
- Clear tables and keep the dining area tidy for guests
- Report inventory needs and equipment issues to management
Qualifications
- Friendly, customer-focused, and dependable
- Ability to work early morning shifts (starting at 5:00am), weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 2540 lbs
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred but not Required
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Ability to work as a team and manage time efficiently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering
