Hotel Continental Breakfast Attendant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up the breakfast area each morning and prepare breakfast items such as coffee, juice, pastries, cereals, fruit, and hot items
• Ensure food displays are attractive, fresh, and fully stocked during service hours
• Assist co-workers and collaborate with other hotel departments as needed
• Greeting guests warmly and assist with questions about breakfast offerings, hotel amenities and local attractions
• Respond professionally to guest requests or complaints
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the breakfast area, kitchen, and dining space
• Monitor food temperatures and follow health and safety guidelines
• Wash and replenish dishes and utensils
• Clear tables and keep the dining area tidy for guests
• Report inventory needs and equipment issues to management

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer-focused, and dependable
• Ability to work early morning shifts (starting at 5:00am), weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 2540 lbs
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred but not Required

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Ability to work as a team and manage time efficiently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering
