Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
  • Knowledge of all menu items, prices and methods of preparation.
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to encourage the guests to choose items that are house specialties.
  • Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
  • Clean service or seating areas.
  • Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Serve food and beverage items to customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner.
  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including garnishes, following service standards and guest preferences.
  • Stay current on trends to create and present cocktail menu items to leadership.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs, take orders using suggestive selling, respond promptly, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, maintain bar stock levels, requisition supplies, and ensure all condiments, glassware, and equipment are ready for service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, promptly clean and reset stations after guest use, and oversee barbacks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Record orders accurately in POS system, process payments following cash handling and credit policies, and manage tip collection and reporting.
  • Maintain required certifications (e.g., TIPS, Food Safety), adhere to safety, security, and operational policies consistent with company standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with co-workers and other departments to ensure efficient and quality service.
  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with departmental policies, service procedures, 4 Keys service standards, and safety and security procedures.
  • Perform all additional duties as assigned by management.

  • Must participate in all required meetings and training.
  • Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards.
  • Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
  • Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and constructive feedback in a polite and efficient manner.
  • Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures.
  • Serve customers quickly and efficiently.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings and must be able to make recommendations.
  • Observe relevant health and safety standards.
  • Ensure that the opening/closing duties are complete as per protocol.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all the retail items.
  • Abide by all policies and safety rules.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or GED equivalence
  • Experience: 1 year experience
