Responsibilities
- Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
- Knowledge of all menu items, prices and methods of preparation.
- Use suggestive selling techniques to encourage the guests to choose items that are house specialties.
- Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
- Clean service or seating areas.
- Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Serve food and beverage items to customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including garnishes, following service standards and guest preferences.
- Stay current on trends to create and present cocktail menu items to leadership.
- Anticipate guests’ needs, take orders using suggestive selling, respond promptly, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
- Complete opening and closing duties, maintain bar stock levels, requisition supplies, and ensure all condiments, glassware, and equipment are ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, promptly clean and reset stations after guest use, and oversee barbacks to ensure smooth operations.
- Record orders accurately in POS system, process payments following cash handling and credit policies, and manage tip collection and reporting.
- Maintain required certifications (e.g., TIPS, Food Safety), adhere to safety, security, and operational policies consistent with company standards.
- Collaborate effectively with co-workers and other departments to ensure efficient and quality service.
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with departmental policies, service procedures, 4 Keys service standards, and safety and security procedures.
- Perform all additional duties as assigned by management.

- Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards.
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and constructive feedback in a polite and efficient manner.
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures.
- Serve customers quickly and efficiently.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings and must be able to make recommendations.
- Observe relevant health and safety standards.
- Ensure that the opening/closing duties are complete as per protocol.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all the retail items.
- Abide by all policies and safety rules.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalence
- Experience: 1 year experience
