Bistro Attendant

About the Role

Our team is looking for a dedicated Morning Bistro Attendant to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. Working as a Hotel Bistro Server or Bistro Attendant at the Courtyard by Marriott Dayton Beavercreek offers a dynamic and rewarding experience in a high-end hospitality setting. This role is ideal for those who enjoy mixology, social interaction, and providing excellent guest experiences in a lively and elegant setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders efficiently
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Handle complaints or concerns professionally
• Monitor customer alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary
• Process payments via cash, credit card, or POS system
• Manage tabs and ensure accurate billing
• Keep track of inventory levels and report shortages
• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and simple menu items according to brand standards
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the Bistro, dining area, beverage stations, and back-of-house areas
• Restock food, beverages, paper goods, and supplies throughout the shift
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and proper serving temperatures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in food service is advantageous
• Demonstrated experience with a strong focus on guest satisfaction
• Exceptional ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members seamlessly
• Must be able to work weekends & holidays
