About the role
The Hot Cook position consists of all Cook responsibilities as well as Buffet Attendant responsibilities. The Cook is responsible for the quality, quantity, and freshness of all Hot Choice Buffet products, paying special attention to recipes, production levels, speed, cleanliness, and organization. The Buffet Attendant maintains the Golden Corral standards of quality, cleanliness, and guest service, while also interacting with Guests in a positive and informative manner. The Buffet Attendant ensures a clean, colorful, and attractive buffet, knowing that it can make a very positive impression on the Guest.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Hot Choice Buffet products according to recipes and production levels.
- Ensure the quality, quantity, and freshness of all Hot Choice Buffet products.
- Work quickly and efficiently to meet production demands.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Interact positively and informatively with Guests.
- Ensure the buffet is clean, colorful, and attractive.
Requirements
- Ability to follow recipes and produce food items accurately.
- Attention to detail for maintaining quality and freshness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and ability to interact with guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
