About the role

We are hiring for Front-of-House support positions with daytime availability. The Ideal Candidates Will Have Excellent communication skills, positive attitudes, and be team players. Long-term employment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and manage the waitlist
• Guide guests throughout the restaurant
• Answer questions and assist other staff members as needed
• Clean and set up tables for guests in a professional and efficient manner
• Assist servers and support staff with extra tasks
• Ensure the facilities are clean and presentable for guests

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card
• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required
• On-the-job tools and training provided

Skills, Abilities & Work Conditions

• Stand and walk for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
• Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
• Lift and carry 30+ lbs
• Communicate professionally and effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments
• Organize and prioritize tasks accurately and efficiently
• Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
• Bend, move quickly around the restaurant, and stop and wipe frequently
• Self-motivated and able to manage time and accomplish tasks accurately
