Hostler 10-hr

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate yard tractor in professional manner
• Handle fast paced work environment
• Drive in snowy or slippery conditions, as needed
• Work in areas requiring exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold, and/or wet, damp, or drafty conditions
• Work varying hours of the day as required (Days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Fuel yard tractor and refrigerated trailers
• Record, report, and maintain trailer temperatures
• Maintain working trailer inventory, anticipate shift needs
• Work closely with dispatch, shipping, receiving, clean out building and security to ensure all trailer needs are met
• Be able to prioritize trailer requests
• Have a strong commitment to safety

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must successfully complete Albertsons pre-employment background and drug screening
• Over the road driving experience, a plus
