Host Part Time - Snow City Cafe

Summary/Objective

Basic duties include greeting guests warmly, quoting wait times, seating guests, taking reservations, taking to-go orders, and providing customer service. Hosts are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining room and ensuring prompt service.

Operations

• Knows all table numbers and seat positions
• Works with other staff to keep the dining room clean and organized
• Greets every guest immediately with eye contact and a smile
• Accurately quotes wait times and updates guests on progress
• Keeps the host stand neat and stocked with necessary items
• Performs restroom checks and ensures proper supplies are available
• Clears tables as needed
• Answers phones promptly and professionally

Work Environment

This may be a full-time or part-time position in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Employees may need to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
